Rodrigo Alcazar Faro (born October 20, 1973) is a famous Brazilian TV host, actor, and singer. He is well-known for hosting popular shows and acting in many TV series and movies.

Rodrigo Faro's Career Journey
Rodrigo started his career very young, at just 9 years old in 1982. His first job was in a milk commercial! As a child, he worked as a model. He also hosted a children's TV show called ZYB Bom on TV Bandeirantes.
When he was 19, Rodrigo joined a boyband called Dominó. After that, he studied radio and TV at the University of São Paulo. In 1996, he acted in his first TV soap opera, Antônio Alves, Taxista, on SBT.
Becoming a TV Host
In 2008, Rodrigo moved to RecordTV. He was supposed to host a music show called Ídolos. But before that, he quickly stepped in to host O Melhor do Brasil.
Later in August, he officially started hosting Ídolos. Rodrigo hosted the show for four seasons. In 2012, he also hosted Fazenda de Verão on RecordTV.
In 2013, Rodrigo achieved a big dream: hosting a show on Sundays. O Melhor do Brasil moved from Saturday nights to Sunday afternoons. This show later changed its name to Hora do Faro in 2014.
Rodrigo won the Troféu Imprensa award for "Best TV Presenter" five years in a row for O Melhor do Brasil. He is an exclusive artist for RecordTV.
Acting and Singing Roles
Rodrigo has acted in many TV shows and movies. Some of his notable TV roles include A Indomada, Malhação, O Cravo e a Rosa, Chocolate com Pimenta, and América. He also voiced characters in animated movies like Astro Boy and Khumba.
As a singer, Rodrigo released albums like Rodrigo Faro in 2001 and Chuvas de Estrelas in 2002. He also sang songs for TV show soundtracks.
Rodrigo Faro's Personal Life
Rodrigo Faro is married to Vera Viel, who is also a TV personality and former model. They have been together since 1997 and got married in 2003. They have three daughters: Clara (born 2006), Maria (born 2008), and Helena (born 2012).
Rodrigo is Catholic. His mother, Vera Lúcia Alcazar Faro, is a university professor. His father, Gil Vicente, was a dentist. Rodrigo's parents separated when he was 9, and his father passed away when Rodrigo was 13.
