Roemon C. Fields (born November 28, 1990) is an American professional baseball player. He plays as a center fielder. Currently, he is a free agent, meaning he can sign with any team.

Roemon Fields: Early Life and College Baseball
Roemon Fields went to Rainier Beach High School. After high school, he wasn't chosen in the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. He then attended Yakima Valley Community College for one year. Later, he moved to Bethany College in Kansas.
In 2012, Roemon was invited to a special practice before the draft. This practice was held at Kauffman Stadium. However, he was not drafted again and returned to Bethany College. During his two seasons at Bethany, he was a great hitter. He had a batting average of .399 and stole 59 bases.
After the 2013 college baseball season, Roemon took a break from playing. He worked at a store called Lids. He also delivered mail for the post office.
Roemon Fields: Starting His Professional Baseball Journey
Later in 2013, Roemon's old coach from Yakima Valley Community College invited him to play. This was for the 2013 World Baseball Challenge tournament. His coach was leading the USA team. Roemon played very well in the tournament. He hit .379 and stole three bases in eight games.
Because of his great performance, the Blue Jays baseball team offered him a contract. Roemon signed with the Blue Jays on August 27, 2013. He started his professional career in 2014. His first team was the Short Season-A Vancouver Canadians.
Playing for the Vancouver Canadians
In 2014, Roemon played 72 games for the Vancouver Canadians. He hit for a .269 batting average. He also hit one home run and had 26 RBI (runs batted in). Roemon set a new team record for the Canadians that season. He stole 48 bases, which was the most in a single season for the team.
Moving Up in the Minor Leagues
In 2015, Roemon played in five spring training games for the Toronto Blue Jays. He then started the season with the Advanced-A Dunedin Blue Jays. He quickly moved up to the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats. After that, he even played for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.
For the entire 2015 season, Roemon played in 121 games. He hit .262 with two home runs and 33 RBI. He also stole 46 bases.
Continuing His Minor League Career
Roemon was invited to Major League spring training again in 2016. He was later sent back to the minor league camp. He started the 2016 season with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. In 130 games for the Fisher Cats, he hit .227. He also had four home runs, 32 RBI, and 44 stolen bases.
In 2017, Roemon played in 119 games. Most of these games were with the Buffalo Bisons. He hit .283, had 34 RBI, and stole 50 bases. On January 24, 2018, the Blue Jays invited him to spring training once more. He played 100 games with the Bisons in 2018. He batted .238, hit two home runs, had 27 RBI, and stole 25 bases. Roemon returned to the Bisons in 2019. He played in 99 games, hitting .254 with two home runs, 22 RBI, and 16 stolen bases.
