Roger Hassenforder (born July 23, 1930, in Sausheim, France – died January 3, 2021, in Colmar, France) was a French professional racing cyclist. He was known for his fun personality and his success in the Tour de France.

Roger Hassenforder was a professional cyclist from 1952 to 1965. People called him the "joker of the pack" or "boute-en-train." This French nickname means someone who makes everyone happy and lively. He was famous for his funny interviews during races.
Roger's biggest wins were in the Tour de France, which is a very famous bicycle race. He did not win many other races, but he was great in the Tour. His best years were from 1955 to 1959. During this time, he won eight different stages of the Tour de France. He also wore the special yellow jersey for four days. The yellow jersey shows that a cyclist is leading the race.
After he stopped cycling, Roger Hassenforder opened a restaurant. It was in a town called Kaysersberg. His restaurant became a popular place for cycling fans to meet in the 1960s. Today, the Hassenforder family still runs the restaurant.
