Rogers Lake is a lovely lake located within Glacier National Park. This famous park is in the state of Montana, in the U.S.. Rogers Lake is a natural body of water, meaning it was formed by nature, not by people.
Where is Rogers Lake Located?
Rogers Lake is found in a scenic area known as the Camas Valley. This valley is part of the larger Glacier National Park. The lake is about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) southwest of another lake called Trout Lake.
Mountains Around the Lake
The area around Rogers Lake is very mountainous and beautiful. To the north of the lake, you can see Rogers Peak. This mountain is named after the same person as the lake. The lake sits at an elevation of about 3,793 feet (1,156 meters) above sea level.
Water Flow
Water flows into Rogers Lake from a stream called Camas Creek. This same creek also flows out of the lake. This means Camas Creek helps keep the lake's water fresh and moving.
