Rollo is a small place in DeKalb County, Illinois, United States. It's what we call an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. You can find Rollo about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of a town called Paw Paw.
History of Rollo
Rollo got its start with a post office, which is a place where people send and receive mail. This post office opened in 1886. It served the community for many years before it closed down in 1922.
The community of Rollo was named after a popular series of children's books. These books were called the Rollo Books and were written by an author named Jacob Abbott.
