About Ron Robinson
His Early Life and Education
Ron Robinson grew up in an African-American family. He went to Adelphi University and finished his studies in 1987. He earned degrees in both chemistry and biology.
For a short time, Ron thought about becoming a doctor and went to medical school. But he soon realized his real passion was chemistry, so he decided to focus on that instead.
Working in the Beauty World
After college, Ron began his exciting career as a researcher. He started at Clinique, which is part of the well-known company Estée Lauder. While there, he helped create some of Clinique's popular skin-care products.
Later, Ron moved to Avon and worked there until 2008. During his career, he also shared his chemistry skills with other famous beauty brands like Revlon, Lancome, and La Mer.
Starting His Own Company
In 2008, Ron Robinson decided to create something new. He launched a website called BeautyStat. This website became a place where people could learn about beauty products and get expert advice.
Then, in 2020, Ron took another big step. He turned BeautyStat into a real cosmetics company! His products quickly became popular. Even big stores like Nordstrom recognized BeautyStat, including it in their special "inclusive" category.
In June 2022, Ron's expertise was recognized again. He became the "chemist-in-residence" for Rhode. This is a beauty brand started by the famous model and businesswoman, Hailey Bieber.
