Rosenburg, Nebraska facts for kids
Rosenburg, also sometimes called Rosenborg, is a small place in the United States. It is located in Platte County, Nebraska. An 'unincorporated community' means it's a group of homes and people, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town does.
What is the History of Rosenburg?
Rosenburg had a post office for a short time. It opened in 1901 and closed in 1904. A post office is where people send and receive mail. The very first person in charge of the post office was named Eske Petersen. He chose the name Rosenburg. He named it after a special place in his home country, Denmark. This shows how people often name new places after places they remember or love.
