Royal Wedding Disaster is an exciting children's book from 2016. It was written and illustrated by Meg Cabot. This book is a follow-up to From the Notebooks of a Middle School Princess. It's also connected to the very popular The Princess Diaries series. The story came out on May 10, 2016. It's all about Olivia, who is Princess Mia Thermopolis's half-sister. Olivia is getting used to her new school in Genovia. She's also helping prepare for her sister's big royal wedding! In the United Kingdom, the book was released on April 21, 2017. There, it was called Bridesmaid-in-Training.

What's the Story About?

The story begins just one month after Olivia finds out she's a princess. She has moved from the USA to live in Genovia. Olivia and her stepbrother, Rocky, are starting at a new school. It's called the "Royal Genovian Academy."

At her new school, Olivia meets many other royal students. She gets to know her cousin, Lady Luisa. She also meets Princes Khalil and Gunther.

Olivia has a very important job. She is going to be a junior bridesmaid in her half-sister's royal wedding. But there's only one week left until the big day! It seems like nothing is ready, and things keep going wrong. Can Olivia and her grandmother, Princess Clarisse, help make sure the wedding goes perfectly?
