Where Does the Royal Ghost Frog Live?
This unique frog makes its home in cool places. You can find it in temperate forests, which are forests that have moderate temperatures, not too hot or too cold. It also lives in areas with Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, which means bushy plants that are good at handling dry summers. Most importantly, it needs rivers because these frogs often live near water.
Why is the Royal Ghost Frog in Danger?
Sadly, the Royal ghost frog is facing threats. Its biggest problem is habitat loss. This happens when the places where the frogs live are destroyed or changed by human activities. For example, if forests are cut down or rivers become polluted, the frogs lose their homes and can't survive. Protecting their natural habitats is very important to help these frogs.
