Ruben R. Nembhard, born on February 20, 1972, is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a guard and even spent some time in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is 6-foot-3-inch (1.91 m) tall and weighs 208-pound (94 kg). His last team was the Gaiteros del Zulia in Venezuela.

Early Life and College Years
Ruben Nembhard was born in The Bronx, New York. He went to DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx. After high school, he continued his basketball journey in college.
He first attended Paris Junior College from 1991 to 1993. Later, he played for Weber State University from 1993 to 1995. While at Weber State, he was recognized as the Big Sky Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year in 1995. He was also named to the First-team All-Big Sky that same year.
Professional Basketball Career
Ruben Nembhard had a short but notable career in the NBA. During the 1996–97 season, he played a total of ten games. He played for both the Portland Trail Blazers and the Utah Jazz during that time.
After his time in the NBA, Nembhard continued to play basketball professionally. In the 1997–98 season, he played for Iraklis Thessaloniki B.C. and averaged 18.2 points per game. He also played for the Fargo-Moorhead Beez in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) during the 2001–02 season. His performance was excellent, and he was chosen for the All-CBA First Team.
Later in his career, Ruben Nembhard also played internationally. He played 12 games for the Townsville Crocodiles in Australia's NBL during the 2003–04 season. He also played for other teams like the Yakima Sun Kings, La Crosse Bobcats, Rockford Lightning, and Idaho Stampede.
Family Life
Ruben Nembhard is married to Terri. They have two children together. Their son, RJ, has also become a basketball player. They also have a daughter named Jayden.
