She played a character named "Inam-ul-Haq" in Mannchalay. This was a comedy TV drama series that was shown on Hum TV. She also appeared in the 2010 Hum TV teledrama called Zindagi Main Kuch Life.

Rubya Chaudhry played the role of "Roxy" in the 2007 film Zibahkhana. This movie is known as one of Pakistan's first horror films. In the story, a group of teenagers encounters various scary creatures. Even though the movie has some similarities to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, it is special because of its unique setting, music, and other details. The film even won international awards.

Chaudhry was also part of the cast for Siyaah, another Pakistani horror film that came out in 2013. She also played a character in the ARY Digital TV show Parchaiyan. Currently, she has an important role in Mohini Mansion Ki Cinderellayain, which airs on Bol Entertainment.
