Rudyard is a small place in Coahoma County, Mississippi, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government.
Rudyard is located close to U.S. Route 61, a major highway. You can find it about 10 miles north of Clarksdale and two miles south of Coahoma. It's also along the path of an old train track, the Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad. For many years, from 1899 to 1956, this community had a post office known as Hillhouse.
