Rukhsana Khan (Urdu: رخسانہ خان; born in 1962) is a Canadian writer and storyteller for children. Her stories help kids from all over the world learn about cultures from Eastern countries.

Early Life and Education
Rukhsana Khan was born in Lahore, Pakistan, in 1962. When she was three years old, she moved to Canada with her family. She grew up in a town called Dundas, Ontario. Later, she studied at Seneca College and became a biological-chemical technician. Today, she lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her husband and their four children.
Her Journey as a Writer
Rukhsana Khan started her writing career by creating songs for children's videos called Adam's World. Her stories have also been published in magazines like Message International and Kahani. She has written many award-winning books for kids. These include picture books, collections of short stories, and novels.
She is a member of several groups for writers and storytellers. These groups include the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Rukhsana Khan is known as a Canadian author who writes stories about diversity. This means her books often feature characters and cultures from different backgrounds.
