The Rural Municipality of Brenda was a type of local government area in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was like a small county or district. It officially started on December 22, 1883.

But on January 1, 2015, it joined with the Village of Waskada. This joining, called an amalgamation, was required by the province. Together, they formed a new area called the Municipality of Brenda – Waskada.

The Rural Municipality of Brenda was located in the southwest part of Manitoba. It was right next to the United States border, near the state of North Dakota.

According to Statistics Canada, the area of the rural municipality was about 766 square kilometers (295.75 square miles).
