Ryoji Ujihara (氏原 良二, Ujihara Ryōji, born May 10, 1981) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was one of the main players who tried to score goals for his team.

Ryoji Ujihara's Football Journey
Ryoji Ujihara was born in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, on May 10, 1981. He started his professional football career in 2000.
Early Career and Loan Spell
Ujihara joined Nagoya Grampus Eight, a club in the top Japanese league called J1 League. Even though he was part of the team, he didn't get to play in any matches during his first year.
In 2001, he moved to Albirex Niigata, a team in the J2 League (the second division), on a temporary loan. This move was a big chance for him! He became a regular player and scored 15 goals that year. In 2002, he continued to play many matches, often coming in as a substitute to help his team.
Moving Between Clubs
After his time at Albirex Niigata, Ujihara returned to Nagoya Grampus Eight in 2003. However, he still didn't get much playing time there until 2004.
In 2005, he decided to move to another J2 League club, Sagan Tosu. He played in many matches for them. The next year, 2006, he joined Montedio Yamagata, also in the J2 League, where he continued to play regularly.
Later Career and Retirement
In 2007, Ujihara moved to Thespa Kusatsu, another J2 League team. He was a regular player for them in 2007, playing in many games. However, from 2008 onwards, his chances to play became less frequent. He continued with Thespa Kusatsu until the end of the 2010 season, when he decided to retire from professional football.
Over his career, Ryoji Ujihara played in 183 league matches and scored 32 goals.
