Ryuichi Hirashige (平繁 龍一, Hirashige Ryuichi, born 15 June 1988 in Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima) is a former Japanese footballer. He played as a striker, which means his main job was to score goals for his team. He played for several clubs in Japan during his career.

Playing for Japan's Youth Team

In July 2007, Ryuichi Hirashige was chosen to play for the Japan U-20 national team. This team played in the 2007 U-20 World Cup, a big tournament for young players from all over the world. He played in one match during this tournament, against the team from Nigeria.

Club Career Highlights

Ryuichi Hirashige started his professional career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 2007. He played for them for several years. During his time there, his team won the J1 League championship in 2012. This was a major achievement for him and his club.

He also played for other teams on loan, like Tokushima Vortis in 2010 and Tokyo Verdy in 2011. After leaving Sanfrecce Hiroshima, he joined Thespakusatsu Gunma in 2013. He played many games for them and scored a good number of goals.

Later, he moved to Roasso Kumamoto in 2015. He continued to play as a striker, helping his team in the J2 League. In 2017, he had another loan spell with Kataller Toyama. He returned to Thespakusatsu Gunma in 2018 before ending his playing career.

Throughout his career, Ryuichi Hirashige played in over 200 professional matches and scored more than 40 goals. He was known for his skills as a forward and his ability to find the back of the net.
