Saddle Butte is a small community in Hill County, Montana, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government counts for population, but it does not have its own city government like a town or city. In 2010, about 128 people lived there. By 2020, the population had grown to 151 people.

Where is Saddle Butte Located?
Saddle Butte is found in the eastern part of Hill County. It is right next to the southeast border of Havre. Havre is the main town and government center for the county.

The community gets its name from a nearby mountain also called Saddle Butte. This peak is about 3,143 feet (958 meters) tall. It is located in the eastern part of the CDP area.

The center of Saddle Butte is about 3.5 miles (5.6 kilometers) southeast of Havre. You can reach it by driving on Clear Creek Road and Bullhook Road.
