Safashahr (Persian: صفاشهر) is a city located in Fars Province, Iran. It is an important city because it serves as the main center, or capital, for both the Khorrambid County and its Central District. Safashahr was created in 1991 when two places, the village of Khorrami and the city of Deh Bid, joined together.
