Safet Halilović (born April 3, 1951 – died May 10, 2017) was an important Bosnian politician and a professor. He played a big role in the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Who Was Safet Halilović?
Safet Halilović was born in Orahova, which was part of Yugoslavia at the time. He later became a professor. He was known for his work in politics and for leading cultural groups.
Early Life and Cultural Work
Before joining the government, Safet Halilović was involved in cultural activities. From 1990 to 1992, he was the President of "Renaissance." This was a cultural group for Bosniak people. Later, from 1995 to 1998, he led the Bosniak Cultural Centre in Sarajevo.
