Sage Gabriel Carlos Atreyu Elsesser (born January 31, 1997) is a multi-talented American star known by his stage name, Navy Blue. He is famous as a professional skateboarder, rapper, record producer, artist, and model.
Elsesser has many talents that have made him well-known. As a skateboarder, he turned professional in 2014 and has been sponsored by famous brands like Converse and Supreme. He is also part of the skater group and clothing store ... Awesome.
Besides skating, Elsesser is a skilled artist. In 2015, he created the artwork for Earl Sweatshirt's album I Don't Like ..., I Don't Go Outside. This shows his talent isn't just limited to music and sports.

Music Career
Early Music and Collaborations
In 2015, Sage Elsesser started making music under the name Navy Blue. He released several short albums called EPs. He also worked with many other artists in the hip hop world. He rapped with and produced music for well-known musicians like Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, Armand Hammer, and Wiki.
Starting a Record Label
On February 4, 2020, Navy Blue took a big step in his music career by starting his own independent record label called Freedom Sounds. A record label is a company that helps artists record and sell their music. On the same day, he released his first full-length album, Àdá Irin.
Later that year, he released another album, Song of Sage: Post Panic!. He followed it up with Navy's Reprise in 2021.
The Saga of Sage Box Set
In 2022, Navy Blue released a special vinyl box set called the Saga of Sage. It included four albums. One was his 2020 album, Song of Sage: Post Panic!. The other three were new albums that were only available in this physical box set.
The titles of the four albums in the set each use one of Elsesser's four names: Sage, Gabriel, Carlos, and Atreyu.

Working with a Major Label
In 2023, Navy Blue signed with Def Jam Recordings, a very famous record label in the hip hop world. He released the single "Chosen" in March of that year. Soon after, his seventh album, Ways of Knowing, came out. It was released through his own label, Freedom Sounds, with support from Def Jam. The album featured several guest artists and was produced by Budgie.
A year later, in August 2024, Navy Blue released his eighth album, Memoirs in Armour. He recorded this project in the two months before its release, after he was no longer with Def Jam.
