Saint Joseph's College of Maine is a private Catholic college. It is located in Standish, Maine, in the United States. This college is special because it is the only Catholic college in the state of Maine.
The college was started in 1912 by a group called the Sisters of Mercy. At first, it was in Portland, Maine. In 1956, it moved to its beautiful spot by a lake in Standish. In 1970, both boys and girls could attend the college. A few years later, in 1976, they started offering online classes. Now, Saint Joseph's College Online helps about 2,400 students. These students live in all 50 states and even in nine other countries.

At Saint Joseph's College, students can choose from over 40 different main subjects (majors) and smaller subjects (minors). Classes are usually small, with about 14 students. This means teachers can give more attention to each student. There are 11 students for every teacher.

The college's baseball team has been very successful. In 2012, they were ranked 14th in the country for Division III. In 2013, they moved up to 9th after winning a big game!
