Sakaser is the tallest mountain in the Salt Range area. This mountain is found in a region called Pothohar in Pakistan. It stands high above everything else around it.
The name Sakaser has a special meaning. Saki is linked to "Sakia" or Buddha. And sar means "pond" or "lake". This is fitting because there is a big lake right below the mountain!
You can find Sakaser in the Khushab District. But because it is so tall, people can see it from far away. It is even visible from the Mianwali and Chakwal districts.
