Sakis Tanimanidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. This was on April 30, 1981. He was interested in TV from a young age. While he was studying engineering, he co-hosted a TV show. It was called Asteria kai Labara on TV 100. After that, he moved to Boston. He studied for two years at Babson College.
Career
World Party (2013–2016)
When Sakis came back to Greece, he started his own TV company. He also created the idea for the travel show World Party. In this show, Sakis and his friends traveled to over 40 countries. They tried exciting new experiences and challenges. The goal of World Party was to explore the amazing world. They wanted to show its wonderful people and places. Sakis was the host, creator, producer, and director of this show.
Survivor (2017–2019)
In 2017, Sakis Tanimanidis was chosen to host Survivor. This show is filmed in the Dominican Republic. It is made for both Turkish and Greek audiences. Sakis hosted the Greek version of the show. Survivor became very popular. It had record-breaking TV ratings for a prime-time reality show.
Greece Got Talent (2017–2018)

Personal Life
Sakis Tanimanidis announced in 2017 that he was in a relationship. He was with Christina Bompa. The couple got married on September 1, 2018. Their wedding was on the Greek island of Sifnos. In December 2020, they shared happy news. They announced they were expecting twin babies.
