Salawat Abdrakhmanovich Gallyamov (born December 24, 1959 – died September 5, 2018) was a smart Russian linguist and researcher. A linguist is someone who studies languages.
He believed that the Bashkir people originally came from a place called Turan. He also spent a lot of time studying old stories and myths from people across Eurasia. He looked for links between the Bashkir language and many other languages, both ancient and modern.
Salawat Gallyamov passed away in Ufa, Russia, on September 5, 2018. He was 59 years old.
