Salvatore Rossini, born on July 13, 1986, is a professional volleyball player from Italy. He plays as a libero, which is a special defensive position in volleyball. Salvatore is a key member of the Italy men's national volleyball team. He also plays for the Italian club Azimut Modena.

Rossini has won many important medals for his country. He earned a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won silver at the 2015 World Cup. In the European Championship, he won silver in 2013 and bronze in 2015.

Salvatore Rossini started his professional volleyball career in 2003. He has played for several clubs in Italy. These clubs include Latina Volley, Pallavolo Aversa, and Pallavolo Catania. He later joined teams like Argos Volley and Cortona Volley. Before joining Modena Volley, he played for Citta di Castello and Pallavolo Gabeca. Since 2014, he has been a vital player for Azimut Modena.

Playing for the Italian National Team

Salvatore Rossini first joined the Italy men's national volleyball team in 2012. He quickly became an important part of the team.

  • In 2013, Italy, with Rossini, won a bronze medal in the World League.
  • That same year, they also won a silver medal at the European Championship.
  • In 2014, Rossini and his Italian teammates won another bronze medal. This was at the World League held in Florence, Italy.
  • He was also part of the team that won the silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
  • In 2017, the team won another silver medal at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Grand Champions Cup.
