Sam Lin (born October 1, 1993) is a talented actor and singer from Taiwan. He was part of the popular Taiwanese boy group SpeXial from 2012 to 2020.

Sam Lin's Journey
Sam Lin and his high school friend, Brent, were both found by a talent agency called Comic Communications. This agency was looking to create a new boy band. After many auditions, Sam and Brent were chosen to be part of the first group of SpeXial. They joined Wes Lo and Wayne Huang. Sam was a main singer and rapper in the group.
SpeXial officially started on December 7, 2012. They released their first album, which was also called "SpeXial." To help promote the group, Sam and Brent also starred in the Taiwanese TV show KO One Return in 2012. Sam continued to act in the follow-up show KO One Re-act (2013) and the spin-off K.O. 3AN-GUO (2017) with other SpeXial members.
Military Service and Comeback
On May 15, 2015, Sam took a break from SpeXial. He left to complete his required military service. He finished his service on May 14, 2016. He made his return to the stage on May 21, 2016, at the SpeXial Land 2016 concert.
From 2017 to 2019, Sam was a co-host on a fun entertainment show called Showbiz. In 2018, he got his first main acting role in a TV show called Five Missions. This was his first big acting project outside of SpeXial.
New Beginnings
In 2019, Sam started a music duo called the Dragon Tiger Brothers. He formed this group with his SpeXial bandmate, Brent Hsu.
In May 2020, Sam announced that he had joined a new management company, TVBS. This meant he officially left SpeXial. In 2021, he starred in the popular web drama series We Best Love.
