Sam Lin (born October 1, 1993) is a talented actor and singer from Taiwan. He was a founding member of the popular Taiwanese boy group SpeXial. He was part of the group from 2012 until 2020.

Sam Lin's Journey to Stardom
Sam Lin, whose full name is Lin Tzu-hung, was born in Changhua County, Taiwan. He went to Nan Chiang Vocation High School. Sam and his friend Brent were discovered by a talent agency called Comic Communications. This agency was looking to create a new boy band.
Joining SpeXial
Sam and Brent successfully passed their auditions. They were chosen to be part of the first group of SpeXial. Other members included Wes Lo and Wayne Huang. In the group, Sam was a central member and a rapper.
SpeXial officially started on December 7, 2012. They released their first album, which was also called SpeXial. To help promote the group, Sam and Brent also starred in a Taiwanese TV show called KO One Return in 2012. Sam continued to act in the follow-up show, KO One Re-act (2013), and a spin-off, K.O. 3AN-GUO (2017). He appeared in these shows with other SpeXial members.
Military Service and Return
On May 15, 2015, Sam took a break from SpeXial. He needed to complete his required military service for Taiwan. He finished his service on May 14, 2016. He made his big return to the stage on May 21, 2016, at the SpeXial Land 2016 concert.
Life After SpeXial
From 2017 to 2019, Sam was a co-host on a fun entertainment show called Showbiz. In 2018, he took on his first main acting role in a TV show, Five Missions. This was a big step for him, as it was a project separate from his work with SpeXial.
In 2019, Sam started a music duo called the Dragon Tiger Brothers. He formed this group with his SpeXial bandmate, Brent Hsu. In May 2020, Sam announced that he had joined a new management company, TVBS. This meant he officially left SpeXial to focus on his solo career.
In 2021, Sam starred in a very popular web drama series called We Best Love. This show helped him gain even more fans.
