Samra Rahimli (born October 20, 1994) is a talented singer and rapper from Azerbaijan. She is known for her powerful voice and for representing her country in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Samra started her music journey by competing in popular TV shows. In 2015, she was a contestant on O Ses Türkiye, which is The Voice of Turkey. She did very well and reached the quarterfinals. The next year, in March 2016, she became a finalist on the first season of Səs Azərbaycan, or The Voice of Azerbaijan.

Eurovision Journey

On March 10, 2016, Samra was chosen to represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. She performed her song "Miracle".

Performing at Eurovision

Samra sang "Miracle" during the first Semi-Final of the contest. Her performance was a success, and she moved on to the Grand Final. In the Grand Final, she finished in 17th place, earning 117 points for Azerbaijan.

After Eurovision, Samra continued to release new music. On June 22, 2017, she released a song called "Badminton". This song also came with a music video.

On December 1, 2020, Samra released a special song titled Shusha, we are back. This song was about the city of Shusha in Azerbaijan. It showed her pride and connection to her homeland.

Recent English Songs

In February 2024, Samra released her first English song in four years, called "Tamagotchi". The very next month, she released another English song titled "I Need A Man".
