San Juan del Paraná is a district in the Itapúa Department of Paraguay. It is one of 30 districts in this area.
The district is located west of Encarnación, which is the capital city of the department. Joaquín de Alós y Brú founded San Juan del Paraná in 1789. People here mostly work in small-scale farming and raise cattle to feed themselves.
