Sandra Milo (born Salvatrice Elena Greco; March 11, 1933 – January 29, 2024) was a famous Italian actress, TV star, writer, and singer. She was well-known for her roles in two movies by director Federico Fellini: 8½ and Juliet of the Spirits. For both of these films, she won a special award called the Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actress.

Her Acting Journey
Sandra Milo started her acting career in 1955. Her first movie was The Bachelor, where she acted alongside Alberto Sordi. A few years later, in 1959, she got a big role in the movie General della Rovere, directed by Roberto Rossellini. She also appeared in Rossellini's film, Vanina Vanini.
Working with Federico Fellini
Before meeting Federico Fellini, Sandra mostly acted in comedies and dramas. Fellini saw her talent and convinced her to return to acting. She starred opposite Marcello Mastroianni in his movie 8½. This film was a huge success and won many awards. After this, she also acted in Fellini's Juliet of the Spirits.
Later Career and Television
In the mid-1960s, Sandra Milo also hosted a TV show in Rome. She took a break from acting in 1968 but came back to films in 1979. Her roles changed from playing charming women to more serious, middle-aged characters.
In 2006 and 2007, she toured Italy with a play called 8 Women. She continued to work in films and television throughout her life.
Personal Life
Sandra Milo was married to Moris Ergas, and they had a daughter named Deborah. Later, she married Ottavio De Lollis, and they had two children, Ciro and Azzurra. Sandra Milo was a Roman Catholic.
