Joining K.A.A. Gent
In 1993, Sandy made a big move to AA Gent. This was a team in the top league, known as the Jupiler League at the time. In his very first game for Gent, playing at home against SK Beveren, he scored a goal right away! This made him an instant favorite with the fans. Sandy continued to be one of the most important players for Gent until 1999.
Time at Club Brugge
