Sanlúcar de Guadiana is a small town in the province of Huelva, Andalusia, Spain. It is located very close to the border with Portugal. The town is about 50 kilometers (31 miles) from the city of Huelva. People who live here are called Sanluqueños.
Sanlúcar de Guadiana sits right next to the Guadiana River. The river here has tides, meaning its water level changes with the ocean. Parts of the town are high up, reaching about 149 meters (489 feet) above sea level.
