Santa Cruz is a majestic mountain found in the Andes mountain range in Peru. It's also known by other names like Pucaraju or Pukaraju, which might mean "red mountain" in the Quechua language. Another name is Pico de Huaylas, which means "peak of Huaylas" in Spanish.
This impressive peak is located in the Ancash area of Peru, specifically in the Santa Cruz District. Santa Cruz stands incredibly tall, reaching about 6,259 metres (20,535 ft) (that's over 20,500 feet!) into the sky. Some maps show it as slightly different, around 6,241 metres (20,476 ft).
