Santa Fe (say "SAN-tuh FEE") is a small place in Maury County, Tennessee, United States. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own city government. Its special mail code, called a ZIP code, is 38482.
A Look Back in Time
Santa Fe got its name when a post office opened there in 1849. Before that, people sometimes called the area "Benton" or "Pinhook." But when the post office started, the name "Santa Fe" was chosen and stuck.
