Santa Rita is a small area or "district" in Costa Rica. It's part of the Nandayure canton, which is like a county. This district is located in the Guanacaste Province, a beautiful region of Costa Rica.

Santa Rita covers an area of about 51.32 square kilometers. This is roughly the size of 5,132 soccer fields! The land here is quite low, with an average height of 52 meters above sea level.

The main village and administrative center of the district is also called Santa Rita.
Other small villages in the district include Angostura, Cacao, Chumico, Guaria, Guastomatal, Morote, Tacanis, Uvita (partly), and Hierbabuena (partly).
