Santanyí is a cool place located on the Spanish island of Majorca. This island is part of the Balearic Islands, which are found in the western part of the Mediterranean Sea.

Santanyí is more than just one town; it's a municipality, which means it's an area that includes several towns and villages. In the southeast of Majorca, Santanyí is home to towns like Santanyí itself, Calonge, s'Alqueria Blanca, and es Llombards. It also includes popular spots like Cala d'Or, Portopetro, and several beautiful beaches such as Cala Figuera, Cala Santanyí, and Cala Llombards.

The coast of Santanyí stretches for about 35 kilometers (21.8 miles) along the island's southeast side. This area is famous for its amazing beaches and stunning views. Santanyí also has 172 old archaeological sites. These sites show that people have been farming and growing food here for a very long time, even since the ancient Talaiotic culture.

A special part of Santanyí is the Mondragó Natural Park. It's a protected area where you can find lots of nature and wildlife.
