Sara Ilonka Däbritz (born February 15, 1995) is a German professional footballer. She plays as a midfielder for the Division 1 Féminine club Lyon. Sara also plays for the German national team.

Club Career Highlights
Sara Däbritz started her youth career at clubs like SpVgg SV Weiden and SC Freiburg. In 2012, she joined the main team of SC Freiburg.
In 2015, Sara moved to Bayern Munich. She played there for four years. After that, in 2019, she joined Paris Saint-Germain in France.
During the 2020-2021 season, Sara helped Paris Saint-Germain win the Division 1 Féminine title. She played 18 games, scored three goals, and made eight assists. In June 2022, she signed a contract with Olympique Lyonnais until 2025.
Playing for Germany
Sara Däbritz first played for the senior German national team on June 29, 2013. This was in a friendly match against Japan. She was part of the team that won the UEFA Women's Euro 2013.
In 2014, Sara played for the Germany U-20 team. They won the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Sara scored five goals in this tournament. She received the Bronze Shoe award for her great performance.
Sara scored her first goal for the senior team at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. This was in a match against Ivory Coast.
She was also part of the team for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Germany won the gold medal in football at these games.
At the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, Sara scored three goals. She scored in Germany's wins against Spain and South Africa. She was named "player of the match" in both games. She also scored in the 3-0 win over Nigeria.
