Sastre is a friendly town located in the western part of Santa Fe, Argentina. It's about 139 kilometers (around 86 miles) west of Santa Fe city, which is the capital of the province. Sastre is home to about 5,500 people and is the main town of the San Martín Department. This means it's an important center for the area.
The town gets its name from Marcos Sastre. He was a famous Argentine lawyer, writer, and teacher. Another well-known person from Sastre is Miguel Brascó, who was a famous Argentine writer and food critic.
