Satoshi Koga (古賀 聡, Koga Satoshi, born 12 February 1970) is a former Japanese football (soccer) player. He mostly played as a midfielder during his career.
Satoshi Koga's Football Journey
Satoshi Koga was born in Yokohama, Japan, on February 12, 1970. He loved football from a young age. After finishing his studies at Waseda University, he started his professional football career.
In 1992, Satoshi Koga joined the Kashima Antlers team. He played as an offensive midfielder and sometimes as a forward. He helped his team a lot during his time there. The Kashima Antlers even finished second in the J1 League in 1993. They also reached the final of the Emperor's Cup that same year.
After playing for Kashima Antlers, Satoshi Koga moved to Brummell Sendai in 1997. This team was part of the Japan Football League at the time. He played in many games for them.
In 1998, he joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He continued to play important matches for this team. In 1999, his team, Sanfrecce Hiroshima, was a runner-up in the Emperor's Cup. Satoshi Koga played his last professional game at the end of the 2000 season. He then retired from playing football.
