Savur is a town and a special kind of area called a district in Mardin Province, Turkey. It was once known as Savor. People in Savur also call it by other names like Ṣawro in Syriac, Ṣawr in Arabic, and Stewr in Kurdish.
Savur covers an area of 962 square kilometers. As of 2022, about 24,821 people live there. It's a place with a rich history and different cultures.
