Scarlet is a rural area, which means it is mostly countryside. There are only a few homes there, and you won't find any stores or services.
About Scarlet
Scarlet is located in Orange County, within Northwest Township. It's a quiet spot where people live in a small group of houses. Because it's unincorporated, the local government services are usually provided by the county.
History of Scarlet
Scarlet once had its own post office. It first opened in 1898. This was a place where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office stayed open for several years but eventually closed down in 1915. One of the first people to work as the postmaster, who ran the post office, was named Otho C. Scarlet.
