Schleusingen is a small town in the German state of Thuringia. It is located in the Hildburghausen district. The town is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) north of Hildburghausen and 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) southeast of Suhl. About 6,000 people live in Schleusingen. The mayor of the town is Klaus Brodführer.
