Schochoh is a small place in Logan County, Kentucky, United States. It is called an unincorporated community, which means it's a town that doesn't have its own local government.
History of Schochoh
This community got its name from a place called Judea. Before any permanent buildings were put up in the 1850s, Schochoh was a popular spot for big outdoor religious meetings. These gatherings were part of a time known as the Second Great Awakening.
Over time, Schochoh changed from being mainly a religious meeting place. It grew into a small farming town. People living there were well-known for growing a lot of corn. Today, the community still celebrates its traditions. Since 1990, Schochoh has held an annual Christmas parade, which is a fun event for everyone.
