Scotland is a small place in Arkansas, United States. It is an unincorporated community. This means it is not officially a town or city with its own local government. Scotland is located in the southwestern part of Van Buren County. It sits near the start of the South Fork of the Little Red River. In April 2010, a powerful tornado hit Scotland. It caused a lot of damage to the community.

Education in Scotland

Students in Scotland attend public schools. The Clinton School District provides education for kids. This district serves both elementary and high school students. Young people from Scotland usually graduate from Clinton High School.

School District Changes

Before 2004, Scotland had its own school district. It was called the Scotland School District. On July 1, 2004, this district joined with another one. It combined with the Alread School District. Both of these districts then became part of the existing Clinton School District.
