In 2005, he was part of the Consadole youth team that made it to the final of the Prince Takamado Cup. Although they lost the final match to Tokyo Verdy, it was a great achievement.

His last club was Tokushima Vortis. He played for them from 2019 until 2022.
Retirement and New Role
On January 7, 2023, Seiya Fujita announced that he was retiring from playing professional football. After his retirement, he decided to stay involved in the sport.
