Sense and Nonsense was an American TV game show. It was hosted by Bob Kennedy. The show aired in New York City on station WABD. It ran from 1951 to 1954.
Kids played on two teams of three. They used their five senses to solve fun challenges. Teams earned money. The team with the most points came back for the next show.
The show was sponsored by Coca-Cola. It aired on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Many fans of early television really liked Sense and Nonsense. Even though it was only shown on WABD, it is often seen as a DuMont Television Network program. This is because WABD was DuMont's main station. Also, the show had production styles common to many DuMont shows.
