Discovering Serpentine Falls

The main attraction of Serpentine National Park is the amazing Serpentine Falls. These are a series of waterfalls found in the upper part of the Serpentine River. People love to visit these falls, which are located at 32°22′05″S 116°00′40″E. The park covers a large area of 4,387 hectares (about 10,840 acres).

Besides the famous falls, you can also find the Serpentine Dam and the smaller Pipehead Dam within the park. These dams help manage water for the area. The park is also part of the North Dandalup Important Bird Area, which means it's a special place for many different kinds of birds.

The Serpentine National Park was officially created in 1957. Over the years, it has grown bigger, with more land added to protect its natural beauty.
