History
Servia has an interesting past. Long ago, it had a different name. It was called New Madison. We don't know for sure why it was named Servia later. The reason for the name "Servia" is a bit of a mystery!
A post office first opened here in 1866. It was called New Madison at that time. Later, in 1883, its name changed to Servia. The post office has been serving the community ever since.
