Seul-ki (also spelled Seul-gi or Sul-ki) is a special Korean name. It can be used for both boys and girls, but it's mostly given to girls. In 1990, it was a very popular name, ranking as the 8th most common name for baby girls born in South Korea.
Unlike many Korean names that come from Chinese words, Seul-ki is a pure Korean word. It means "wisdom." This makes it one of the "native names" (called goyueo ireum in Korean) that have become more popular in South Korea in recent years.
