Location and Natural Features
Shady Grove is easy to find because it's right next to a major highway, Interstate 40. It's also near U.S. Route 266, just east of a town called Checotah.
One of Oklahoma's biggest lakes, Lake Eufaula, is located to the south and west of Shady Grove. This huge lake is a popular spot for outdoor activities. You can also find Lake Eufaula State Park about 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the west-southwest, offering more chances to explore nature.
