Shady Grove is a small community in McIntosh County, Oklahoma, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's an area identified by the government for statistics. In 2010, about 199 people lived there. It's important not to confuse this Shady Grove with other places that have similar names in Oklahoma, like those in Cherokee or Pawnee Counties.

Location and Natural Features

Shady Grove is easy to find because it's right next to a major highway, Interstate 40. It's also near U.S. Route 266, just east of a town called Checotah.
