Shayna Powless (born January 8, 1994) is an American professional racing cyclist. She competes in different types of bicycle races, including mountain biking, road cycling, and gravel racing. Shayna is a citizen of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. Her family has Oneida heritage through her father.
Shayna grew up in Sacramento, California. She enjoyed playing many sports when she was younger. She especially liked mountain bike racing during her high school years.

Shayna's Cycling Journey
Starting Out in Mountain Biking
In 2013, Shayna became the Under-23 US national mountain bike champion. This was her first year competing in that age group. It showed she was a very talented rider from the start.
Moving to Road Cycling
Shayna later started road bicycle racing. She joined the cycling team at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2019, she signed to ride for a professional team called Virginia's Blue Ridge–TWENTY24. This team competes in women's road cycling events around the world.
Family and Connections
Shayna comes from a family of athletes. Her mother, Jen Allred, was an Olympic marathon runner. Her brother, Neilson Powless, is also a professional racing cyclist. Shayna has been engaged to Canadian American football player Eli Ankou since 2021. They met when they were both at UCLA.
